In two separate incidents, two Volvo buses were burnt to ashes in Telugu speaking States.

A Volvo bus belonging to Kaveri Travels coming from Hyderabad to Anakapalle was brought to ashes today morning at around 6.30am at Paravadapalem of Kasimkota mandal of Visakhapatnam district. The driver of the bus was alerted by the passengers travelling in a car by the way who could stop the bus and brought the passengers safely from it.

Sources said that there were 50 passengers in the bus at the time of the accident and they are the marriage party coming to Anakapalli. All the passengers in the bus were safe and fire tenders and police have rushed to the spot. By the time, fire tenders reached, the bus was completed brought to ashes.

Electrical short circuit might be the reason for the fire accident and the police are investigating.

In another incident, a Volvo bus belonging to Vinayaka travels coming from Kandukur to Hyderabad in Prakasam district was also met with fire accident. The bus upon reaching Vanasthalipuram, suddenly smoke emanated and the alerted passengers get out of the bus safely.
