Trujet of the Turbo Megha Airways has received the Air Operator Certificate under the Schedule Commuter Operator category from the Director General of Civil Aviation enabling it to operate its network to all metros, said its Managing Director Vankayalapati Umesh.

It would now connect the Nanded-Mumbai route under ‘Ude Deshka Aam Nagrik’ (UDAN) scheme he said. Under SCO category, aircraft having a maximum All Up Weight not exceeding 40 tonnes can be operated. Turbo Mega Airways was one of the five air operators that won bids to operate on 128 routes connecting 70 airports of which 3 are not served under UDAN. The fare under UDAN are capped at Rs.2,500 for one hour flights.

Trujet is currently operating eight stations – Hyderabad, Aurangabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Goa, Rajahmundry, Vijayawada and Tirupati and is the only airline to operate on Hyderabad-Aurangabad route. The fares and bookings can be had [[1]].
