The State government imposed a new rule that the doctors who wish to pursue Super Specialty course has to work for three years or to pay Rs.10 lakh.

The decision came at a time when the admission process is on for the Super Specialty courses. The rule was already in vogue in some States and the AP government has taken a decision to this effect said sources. In the State of Andhra Pradesh, there were 58 seats in Super Specialty courses in various medical colleges.
