Telangana State Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhara Rao on Wednesday has given green signal for filling up of 23,494 teaching posts in education and welfare schools as part of KG to PG education scheme.

In the first phase as many as 8,245 posts will be filled up. In a high level meeting held on Wednesday, Chandrasekhara Rao said that the motto of the government is to extend excellent education to SC/ST/BC and Minority schools.

The State Government has already announced establishment of 726 BC,SC,ST and Minority schools. The rest of the schools will be established from the next academic year.

For the academic year 2017-18, as many as 8,245 teaching staff have to be recruited immediately and ordered the officials to issue notification immediately and the process of recruitment should be made to through the Telangana State Public Service Commission. Out of 23,494 posts, 20,299 teaching posts and 4,195 non-teaching posts are required to be filled up.
