The Madhapur police on Wednesday arrested a software engineer working for Tech Mahindra allegedly stealing ATM cards from various hostels and withdrawing money.

The arrested software engineer Twinkle Arora (27) a resident of Genius Men’s hostel in Madhapur had reportedly stolen the purses of two software engineers Nitish Kumar and Sumit Agaral and had withdrawn amounts Rs.82,000 and ‘Rs.40,000 respectively from their accounts. The action of the police came following they lodged complaint with the police.

The CCTV cameras in ATM showed that the accused was seen wearing a helmet while drawing the amount.. However, the police identified the accused with the help of CCTV footage available at a nearby road as he was seen travelling on a bike. The police nabbed the suspect based on the registration number of the bike.
