TDP has raised an objection that the YSRCP candidate for Nandyal by-elections Silpa Mohan Reddy has not followed the rules by the Election Commission.

In a letter to the Election Commission, they alleged that the nomination papers that were submitted by Silpa Mohan Reddy was signed by notary Rama Tulasi Reddy whose licence was expired in December 2013 and was not renewed. They also submitted a letter issued by the District Registrar to this effect in support of their claim. They also raised the objection that he had not submitted the additional affidavit on judicial stamp paper as required the Election Commission.

They wanted the authorities to reject the nomination papers filed by Silpa Mohan Reddy. They also cited the rejection of Baburao, a candidate of TDP from Kadiri in 2009 whose nomination was rejected by the authorities at that time.

YSRCP raises objection

Meanwhile, YSRCP has lodged a complaint against TDP candidate Bhuma Brahmananda Reddy stating that he did not filed the Income Tax Returns. They said that Brahmananda Reddy claimed that they are HUF and if that be the case, they questioned why Akhila Priya did not mention the same in her affidavit, they alleged. They wanted the authorities to reject the nomination for intentionally not submitting the IT returns.
