The State government will construct 500 anganwadi centres each at a cost of Rs.10 lakh.
In a review meeting held by the Chief Secretary Dinesh Kumar on Wednesday on the implementation of the Multi Sectoral Development Programme, he said that as many as 11 areas with a minimum of 25% minority population had been selected for the purpose. The government would also construct 100 health sub centres at an estimated cost of Rs.12 crore. A girls residential school would be constructed at Proddatur at an estimated cost of Rs.23 crore, he said.
