An advocate has filed a petition in the Hyderabad High Court on Wednesday challenging the action of the Andhra Pradesh State government giving exemption of tax to movie ‘Gautamiputra Satakarni’.

The petitioner alleged in the petition moved in the lunch motion stating that lead role actor Balakrishna happens to be the relative of the AP Chief Minsiter Chandrababu Naidu and only on that ground the entertainment tax exemption has been given in violation of the laid down rules.

The High Court opined that if the government violates the rules, the amount can be recovered from the film producer and asked the petitioner to move the same in regular bench.
