People can donate to the NTR Vaidya Seva Trust directly

Minister for Health Kamineni Srinivas after inaugurating the offices of NTR Vaidya Seva Trust, and AP Pharmacy Council here today donated Rs.1 lakh to the trust.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that people can now donate to the trust directly at a click of a button through the website http://www.ntrvaidyaseva.ap.gov.in/. The donors are exempt form Income Tax under Section 80(G), he said.

Srinivas said that the State government had been giving a major thrust for providing quality health care and had made a budgetary allocation of Rs.1,000 crore this year. Apart from NTR Vaidya Seva, the trust covers the Employees Health Scheme, Arogya Rksha and the Amrutha Scheme, he said. A data base of all networking hospitals is provided in the website.
