Online quota of Arjitha Seva tickets for October released

The TTD has today released the online quota of 56,295 seva tickets for the month of October, 2017.

Of them, 12,495 tickets are for various pre-dawn rituals and other prime sevas performed inside the temple will be allotted to the devotees by way of electronic-dip system.

The six prime seva are

  • Suprabhata – 7,780
  • Thomala – 120
  • Archana – 120
  • Visesha puja – 1,875
  • Ashtadala Padapadmaradhana – 300
  • Nijapada Darshanam – 2,300

Devotes can book the tickets through online registration process till July 14. The devotes will be provided with three days grace time for remitting of the ticket amount, failing which their tickets will be again put for the lucky dip on July 17 along with other seva tickets.

The other sevas are:

  • Kalyanotsavam – 10,500
  • Unjal – 2,800
  • Arjitha Brahmotsavams – 6,020
  • Vasanthotsavam – 11,180
  • Sahasra Deepalankara – 13,300

Token system for accommodation::

The TTD on Friday resolved to introduce token system in the allotment of cottages and guest houses in Tirumala. This is aimed at ensuring more transparency in the entire accommodation module.

Under the new system that will be implemented from July 12, the pilgrims should register their names by furnishing their mobile numbers and a copy of the Aadhaar card at one of the 10 counters being specially set up for the purpose at the TTD’s Central Reception Office. Out of the available 6,600 suites, 2,800 have been specifically earmarked for the purpose. The details of confirmation will be sent to the devotees by way of an SMS with a request to avail the accommodation within 30 minutes failing which the allotment will automatically pass on to the next person in the series.

The TTD has decided to permit 4,000 pilgrims to have darshan of the Lord under the ‘senior and special citizens’ category on July 18 and 25 as against 1,500 pilgrims on normal days. On both these days, the pilgrims will be allowed in three slots 10am. 2pm., and 3pm., The TTD also resolved to allow the parents with children below 5 years through the ‘Supatham Marg’ on July 19 and 26 for the darshan of Lord Venkateswara Swamy.
