Telugu industry has lost one more comedian Gundu Hanumanth Rao (61) today morning at around 3am at his SR Nagar residence.
Sources said that he was suffering with kidney ailment for the past few days. He acted in over 400 movies. Cine actor and Rajya Sabha member has extended a financial help of Rs.2lakhs while Telangana State government with Rs.5lakhs. He is survived with a son while his wife and daughter passed away.
He made his film debut in 1987 with Jandhyala's iconic film Aha Na Pellanta. He acted in films like Pellaniki Premalekha Priyuraliki Subhalekha, Rajendradu Gajendradu, Mayaloodu, Jodi No.1, Nenu Seetamahalakshmi, Kedi No.1, Apparao Driving School, Kalyanam, Original, Neramu Siksha, High School, Kothoka Vintha, Colors, Panchamukhi, Sri Sai Sankalpam, Mano Balam among many others.
The final rites are likely to take place at Erragadda Burial Ground in SR Nagar. Many film and TV actors are expected to turn up to pay their last respects.
