NEET ranks released – list of top rankers

Minister for Health Kamineni Srinivas today released the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test) rankers from the State for admissions into MBBS and BDS courses at Dr.NTR University of Health Sciences.

Nareddy Manvitha stood first in the State and secured 14th rank at the national level. Speaking to media after the release, he said that of the 6 lakh above candidate who qualified in the country, 32,392 belong to the State and 27,075 are from Telangana State. He said separate notifications for conducting admissions to 2,927 convener, 730 management and 343 NRI quota seats would be issued on July 3.

Srinivas said that since the NEET results have been announced, the State government would present its case for inclusion in the National Pool of medical seats to the MCI. The State has to contribute 15% of the total seats to the pool if it is to be given an equal quota in other States but until the Presidential Order is amended, the AP and also Telangana can neither join the national pool to get medical seats elsewhere nor offer seats to students from other States.
