National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for admission into various medical colleges including MBBS/BDS in the country will be held on May 7, 2017.
The test will be conducted across 80 cities across the country for admission into MBBS/BDS courses in the colleges run with the approval of Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India except for the institutions AIIMS and JIMPER, Puducherry.
Age:: Candidate should be at least 17 and not more than 25 years old. You should have the sufficient qualification of having passed a class 12 examination from a recognized institution. You are not eligible if you have already attempted the paper three times. The fees for general category candidates is Rs 1400 and for SC, ST and PH category candidates is Rs 750.
Candidates can apply for the online test from January 31 to March 1, 2017 said CBSC. All India quota seats, State government quota seta, private medial colleges (management and NRI quota seats) Deemed university seats, Central Pool quota seats will be made through only on NEET. The test will be held in 1500 centres. 15 per cent of All India quota seats to NRIs and foreigners for which candidates can take up the examination
