The Andhra Pradesh Junior Doctors’ Association today staged a protest in front of the office of Dr.NTR University of Health Sciences here against the steep increase in the fee for post-graduate courses in medicine and dental sciences.
The leaders of the AP JUDA said meritorious students from the middle and lower classes would not be able to do post-graduation in private colleges. The A and B category seats now cost as high as five times more than earlier.
The AP JUDA raised slogans against the government for brushing aside their concerns and warned that they would be forced to intensify the agitation if it continued to be different to their plight. It may be recalled that the government has PG medical and dental courses fee revised on April 3, 2017.
