Madiga Reservation Porata Samithi will undertake fast en-masse across the State between January 1 and 5 to exert pressure on the Chief Minister to lead an all-party delegation to New Delhi.
MRPS State general secretary U.Bramaiah Madiga speaking to media said that Chandrababu Naidu should impress upon the Centre to amend the Constitution during the ongoing winter session of the Parliament to provide for micro-classification of the Scheduled Classes for the purpose of reservation in jobs and reductional institutions. He also urged the YSRCP president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to make the party’s stand clear on their long pending demand.
MRPS founder president Manda Krishna Madiga will observe fast in Hyderabad, other activists will embark on hunger strike in both the Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, he said.
