Kesineni Nani quits transport business

Even after an altercation with the Transport Commissioner and subsequent developments took place in the State, Vijayawada MP and Kesineni Travels owner Kesineni Srinivas (Nani) has decided to quit the transport business.

Kesineni Travels has footfalls in 16 States will be off the roads from Friday according to sources. The firm returned the money to customers who made advance books to travel in Kesineni travels buses. It has 164 buses covering various routes in the country.

It may be recalled that the Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu has summoned Nani when he was about address a press conference on Friday. What transpired between these two leaders is not immediately known.

Kesineni Nani has been at loggerheads with the officials demanding action against the errant private travels. Nani and Vijayawada Central MLA Bonda Uma Maheswara Rao were pulled up by the Chief Minister following their apparent rude behavior with Transport Commissioner N.Balasubramanyam and later apologized to the Transport Commissioner.
