On the 14th day of Jagan Mohan Reddy’s “Praja Sankalpa Yatra” has covered 196 km with 13.2 km on the day itself. He began his padayatra at 8.40am from Gorlagutta and eneded it at 7.10pm at Kolumulapalle.

At a public meeting held at Bethamcherla in Done constituency in Kurnool, Jagan charged the TDP ruling government for diluting Arogya Sri scheme. He said that it would be revived its past glory after coming to power and will strengthen 104 and 108 services. He said that surgeries like cancer, neuro, heart, kidney transplantation, knee joint replacement will be done free of cost. He promised that the services of ambulances to the needy within 20 minutes upon receiving the call. Those who need rest will be given financial assistance. He promised that a pension of Rs.10,000pm will be given to the kidney patients. These services will made available in Hyderabad too.

Jagan said that in Done constituency, Bethamcharla, Kottala, Palukuru, Patapadu villages are having granite industries. If one unit is established will provide employment to nearly 20 persons. He said that the owners are shutting down their units due to losses on account of increased power bills. He said that on coming to power, the power charges would be brought back to Rs.3.70 which was hiked to Rs.8.70 now by the ruling government.
