Justice Shankar Narayan of the Hyderabad High Court today dismissed the petition filed by YSRCP president Jagan Mohan Reddy seeking to quash a criminal case filed against him.

It may be recalled that a criminal case was filed against Jagan Mohan Reddy when he visited the hospital at Nandigama in Krishna district to see the injured after the road accident near Penuganchiprolu in Krishna district on February 28 where the bodies of the 11 passengers who died were kept. Jagan had a heated argument with the then Krishna district collector Babu A and the hospital staff during his visit to the hospital.

Jagan filed the petition requesting the court to quash the criminal case filed against him as it was politically motivated.
