AP HRD Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao today released the results of AP State Eligibility Test-2017 at Andhra University.
A total of 2,229 candidates qualified in APSET-2017. Of the 43,3017 candidates who applied for the test, 32,284 candidates appeared. The test was held in 31 subjects at 70 examination centres across six regional centres in Visakhapatnam, Rajamahendravaram, Guntur, Nellore, Anantapur and Tirupati.
The Minister addressing a press conference said that as part of the first phase recruitment, 1,104 posts – assistant professors (845), associate professors (169) and professors (90) will be filled in various universities across the State including 281 posts in Andhra University. Notification will be issued within a week, he said. He said that Aadhaar enabled biometric attendance system will be introduced in all educational institutions across the State.
