HRD Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao today promised to fill 1,385 vacant teaching posts in 14 universities in the State in two phases through APPSC.

A committee was constituted with retired vice-chancellors to examine the demand to accord priority in recruitments to contract lecturers working in universities, he said. Ganta Srinivasa Rao inaugurated the School of Life Sciences building in Rayalaseema University. He promised to develop the State as a knowledge hub. The government already recruited over 10,000 teachers and the next DSC was being held on February 21.
