The Andhra Pradesh State Public Service Commission that conducted screening test for 982 Group II test process became a controversial one with some candidates approaching the High Court for denying them to write for main examination though they got equal marks with that of those selected in the list.

In the last November 8, the APPSC issued notification for the recruitment of 442 Executive and 540 non-Executive posts and it received over 6 lakh applications. The APPSC has conducted a screening test and selected 49,100 candidates qualified in the screening test in 1:50 ratio.

Exactly here, the controversy arises with the some candidates approached the High Court stating that they were denied to appear for main examinations though they got equal number of marks with the candidates in the selection list. If they were taken into consideration, another 1,500 candidates may be added for the main examinations.
