The State government will disburse input subsidy to farmer from June 2 and complete the same before June 8.
Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu said this at a review meeting on agriculture, horticulture and allied sectors today at the Secretariat. The government will also launch a smart service centre ‘Agri Smart’ that would offer a one-stop solutions to the farming community. The centre will have details about crop, soil nature and cultivated land. Farmer can also book door delivery of seed and fertilizers through the centre.
Chief Minister set a target of distributing 11 lakh soil health cards by the end of this month. Under phase I, 26 lakh cards would be distributed and 28 lakh cards in the Phase II.
