Chief Minsiter Nara Chandrababu Naidu today mistakenly referred to the death anniversary of Nobel laureate Sir C.V.Raman instead of birth anniversary (November 7, 1888) while remembering him on Twitter.
At 9.47am, the Chief Minister’s Twitter handle tweeted: “All diversities arise from the same source; remembering the scientist who gave us the Raman effect, Dr.C.V.Raman on his death anniversary (sic)’. After receiving about 27 responses that pointed out the mistake, the Tweet was only deleted six hours later without any correction being posted. Of late such mistakes by popular persons on social media, particularly Twitter got them flooded with negative user responses.
JSP chief Pawan Kalyan referred on ‘Gauri Shanker’ instead of Gauri Lankesh in a series of Tweets while condemning the journalist’s death. Javed Akhtar landed in trouble after he mistakenly referred to late Girija Devi as ‘classical sinner’ instead of ‘classical singer’. However, both of them have corrected their mistakes after receiving flank online.
