Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu has taken the initiative to speed up the payment of compensation of Rs.5 lakh to those who died after the AgriGold scam was came to light.
Speaking to media, AgriGold Customers and Agents Welfare Association president M.Nageswara Rao thanked the Chief Minister for his initiative. He said that the directive of the Chief Minister brings some relief to the victims’s families. It may be noted that Chandrababu on the second day of the district Collectors’ meeting instructed the officials to carryout the amendments to GO No.80 dated May 12, 2017 and start disbursing compensation to the victims by the month end.
ACAWA president Nageswara Rao said that on January 23, the association will be holding a rountable to discuss the future course of action in which retired Judge Chandra Mohan will be the chief guest.
