Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu today instructed the CRDA officials to firmly deal with those filing anonymous petitions with the World Bank through legal means and come up with an action plan by the next round of talks.
At a teleconference with the officials today, he ordered that the projects be expedited lest the government should attract unwarranted criticism. He made it clear that no question of sparing the vicious forces targeting capital city’s construction.
Chandrababu Naidu said that false complaints were lodged by the Opposition leaders with the World Bank to stall the promised funding to the projects. The Bank had committed to lend $300 million through an International Bank for Reconstruction and Development project. He said that petitions were also filed before the NGT, Supreme Court and the High Court to derail the capital city. He cautioned the people against persons trying to obstruct the development in the guise of farmers.
