Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu today inaugurated the Jaguar Land Rover India first retail unit in the State.
He unveiled F-Pace Jaguar car in the presence of special representative of Andhra Pradesh Kambhampati Rammohan Rao and Rohit Suri, president and Managing director of JLRIL. Jaguar Land Rover is set to roll out its first hybrid electric car -1Pace across the world market next year.
Speaking on the side-lines of Lakshmi, the authorised dealer of Jaguar Land Rover at Atmakuru village in the district, Suri said that the protentional for luxury car segment is very high in the country. He said that Jaguar has sold 30,000 cards and is looking ahead to capitalize on the emerging markets in Tier-2 and tier-3 cities. ‘We have 200 Jaguar and Land Rover cars in Amaravati region. This is one of the biggest facility in the country. The showroom spread over 50,000 square feet has facilities like sales, service and spare parts with over 200 personnel working.
