Chandrababu sanctions Rs.1,200 crore for developmental works in Nandyal

Minister for Industries Amarnath Reddy and Minister for Tourism Bhuma Akhila Priya said on Thursday that the Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu has sanctioned Rs.1,200 crore to develop the Nandyal constituency.

Amarnath Reddy said that the developmental works would be completed in the next two or three months. He said at a meeting at the Suraj Grand hotel function hall here. He said 3,000 new pensions were sanctioned in Nandyal constituency.

Bhuma Akhila Priya said developmental works were taken up in the constituency and Rs.34 core was sanctioned for augmenting drinking water supply besides sanctioning 2,000 houses in rural areas and 10,000 ration cards and pensions. She said that IT Minister Nara Lokesh would visit the constituency shortly. She disbursed 376 pensions in Nandyal municipality, 163 of Nandyal mandal and 66 of Gospadu mandal and hosted lunch for them.

Earlier, AP State Irrigation Development Corporation Chairman and Nandyal constituency in charge K.E.Prabhakar addressed the meeting. TDP district general secretary had given call to the party cadre to strive for the TDP nominee Bhuma Brahmananda Reddy’s victory.
