Nara Chandrababu Naidu is the current chief minister of Andhra Pradesh. He is the first chief minister of Andhra Pradesh after the state was bifurcated with Telangana in 2014. Chandrababu also has served as Chief Minister two times earlier.
Apart from being the Chief Minister, he also holds the portfolio of being the Minister for General Administration, Investments, Minority Welfare, Cinematography, Happiness Index and other not-allotted portfolios since the April 2017 re-shuffle of the state cabinet.

Chandrababu Naidu is also the president of Telugu Desam Party in Andhra Pradesh. His party in alliance with Bharatiya Janata Party has won 106 of the 175 Assembly constituencies in the 2014 elections Andhra Pradesh achieving the majority to form the first government in Andhra Pradesh post bifurcation with Telangana.
Chandrababu Naidu holds the record for the longest serving Chief Minister in Andhra Pradesh. He was the Chief Minister of the State from 1995 till 2004.
Soon after his win, media reports said that Naidu is likely to take oath after June 2, 2014 - the appointed date of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana and that he is likely to function from a camp office in Acharya Nagarjuna University.
Chandrababu Naidu criticized Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao for raking up a controversy in every issue. Chandrababu Naidu inaugurates newly constructed senior secondary block of Andhra Educational Society “Dr. K. Ramesh Babu Memorial Senior Secondary School”, Pushp Vihar in New Delhi. He congratulated the executive body of AES school for developing the educational society started by Dr. Durgabai Deshmukh. Government committed to eradicate poverty
On 10 December 2015, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu announced that the government was committed to eradicate poverty from the society and budget allocations for the poverty alleviation schemes were already made. Chandrababu Naidu reached Kuppam from Bengaluru by road. Government has decided to construct 5,000 km long cement roads in the State. The works of Handri-Neeva irrigation project is in the final stage and water for the project will be released to Kuppam shortly, he said. The Chief Minister also laid foundation stones for various schemes at Kuppam.
On 14 December 2015, Chandrababu Naidu asked victims of the Call Money scandal not to pay their dues. He said that those who harass the victims will be slapped with Nirbhaya Act. Chandrababu Naidu said that incidents like call money, spurious liquor and adulterated ghee could affect the brand image of Amaravati. He directed the police officials to take steps so that such incidents won't recur in the future.
On 26 December 2015, Chandrababu Naidu and his son Lokesh took part in the last rites of former minister Dr. Metla Satyanarayana.
Chandrababu Naidu launched the NTR Medical Services at Eluru government hospital in West Godavari district. He reached Vijayawada by road at 8:30 pm and spoke to IAS officers waiting at his home till 10:30 pm.
Chandrababu Naidu will visit Davos from January 23rd to 26th. Few ministers and IAS officers will accompany Chandrababu on his four-day visit. The purpose of the visit is to attract investments to Andhra Pradesh.
