The Central Government has given it not for functioning of two private medical colleges - Nimra Minority Medical College, Ibrahimpatnam, Vijayawada and Gayatri Medical College, Visakhapatnam for the academic year 2017-18 according to Vice Chancellor of Dr.NTR University of Health Science, T.Ravi Raju.

The Vice Chancellor said that there are chances that Apollo Medical College in Chittoor may also get nod by the Central Government. The admissions into these two colleges will be held on August 18 to 20 through the third phase web counselling. He said that with the new seats availability, the students will get sliding.

The medical seats in Fatima Minority Medical college under management (B and C category) were filled up except 7 seats said University Registrar Dr.S.Appalanaidu.
