Consortium of Medial Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka on Wednesday has given notification for admissions into PG courses.

The notification said that those candidates who have completed House Surgeon on or before March 31, 2017 are eligible to apply for PG. In fat, the medical students from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana will be completing their House Surgeon on April 11, 2017 resulting in losing their chance for the COMEDK.

In fact, the rules of the NEET has clearly stated that Telugu Speaking state student be given exemption but it issued notification in violation. The candidates can apply through online from March 9. With this rule, the students who got ranks in NEET have to lose their seats.

Registrar of Dr.NTR University of Health Sciences S.Appala Naidu said that relaxation has been given up to April 15 but the issuance of this notification is in violation. He said that they would be writing to Karnataka and Tamil Nadu governments on the issue.
