The Anti-Corruption Bureau officials raided the houses and properties of Atmakur Assistant BC Welfare Officer Chekka Raja Kullayappa at various places in Kadapa district and unearthed disproportionate assets to the tune of Rs.20 crore.
Kadapa ACB DSP Nagaraju arrested the accused and would be produced in the court. The ACB officials raided the houses and properties of the accused and his family members in the district seized Rs.6.20 lakh, 593 grams gold, 433 grams silver and 154 promissory notes worth Rs.51lakh. They also seized documents in Raka Kullayappa’s names pertaining to two houses in Yerraballe and Nallapureddipalli in Pulivendula mandal, three house sites at Chinna Chowk and Chemmumiyapeta in Kadapa town and Bakarapuram in Pulivendula mandal. Documents of three stretches of agricultural land in Pulivendula mandal and Bengaluru East were also seized.
The officials seized a building on 300 yards in Pulivendula town and six house sites in the name of his wife V.Sarada, a secondary grade teacher of the ZP High School of Gollalagudur in Vemula mandal. Documents of two houses in his father in Pulivendula mandal and 8.33 acres in the name of his brother-in-law V.Madhusudan were also seized. A Bolero car and a Royal Enfield Bullet motorcycle of the accused were also seized according to ACB officials.
