Director of Yoga Village and chairperson of Faculty of Department of Yoga and Consciousness, Andhra University P.Nirmala Devi participated at resource person and conducted a session on holistic health and well-being.
  • Visakhapatnam:: Passenger from Singapore arrested and 1.2 kg gold seized:: The Air Intelligence Unit has intercepted an international passenger who arrived from Singapore and seized 1.2kg of gold valued at Rs.35.28 lakh. Commissioner of Customs B.Hareram said on Saturday that their officers picked up the passenger who came by SilkAir flight MI 442 on Friday night at the green channel. The passenger tried to smuggle the gold by concealing it in his rectum, he said.
  • Visakhapatnam:: DLSA Chairman P.Venkata Jyotirmayi inaugurates Lok Adalat: DLSA chairman P.Venkata Jyotirmayi today inaugurated mega Lok Adalat at the District Courts. In all, 4,536 cases were lined up for resolution in all the courts in the district. Joint Collector D.Srijana said that resorting to legal recourse on minor issues would burden courts and the Lok Adalat was the right forum to seek resolution. Joint Commissioner of Police A.S.Khan congratulated judges on their endeavor.

Former Vice Chancellor of Dravidian University K.S.Chalam addressed the camp said that the SCS alone would benefit the people of the State.
