Drug reaction – Health Minister calls on the affected children

Tirupati:: AP Health Minister Kamineni Srinivas today interacted with the family members of the children who were taken ill after being administered an antibiotic at Ruia’s children hospital. He enquired about the medical care being extended to them. Speaking to media later, he said that the administered medicine’s expiry date was till December 2018 and opined that it was inappropriate to jump to conclusion.

PD Act against two red sanders smugglers

Kurnool:: PD Act was invoked against two inter-State red sanders smugglers, Masineni Sankar alias Hawala Sankar and Paligi Siddhaiah alias Vankayala Siddhaiah of Kadapa district said SP A.Babujee. Sankar, presently residing in Chennai was an accused in 10 cases while Siddhaiah was an accused in eight cases, he said in a statement.

Modi urged to develop Rayalaseema

Kurnool:: Rayalaseema Saagu Neeti Sadhana Samithi convener B.Dasaratharami Reddy has urged the Prime Minister Narendra Modi to constitute a committee to study the backwardness of Rayalaseema and chalk out an action plan. He sent a few cheques of 68 paise each on Friday as a token contribution to Narendra Modi for celebrating his 68th birthday on September 17, said in a statement. He said that the region despite having abundant resources was remained backward due to the neglect of successive governments.

Applications invited for AYUSH degree courses

Vijayawada:: Applications are invited for admissions into Ayurveda (BAMS), Homeo (BHMS), Naturopathy (BNYS) under competent authority quota from September 22 through online said Dr.NTR University of Health Sciences Registrar Dr.S.Appalanaidu. The candidates who were qualified in NEET-2017 are eligible to apply.

NTR Vaidya Seva will be made available in 20 bed hospitals

Vijayawada:: NTR Vaidya Seva CEO Dr.Ravishankar Ayer said that the services of NTR Vaidya Seva will be extended to the 20 bed hospitals in the State. However, treatment required for surgeries for use of ventilator and ICU will not be permitted. He was the chief guest for the ENT doctors’ association’s 36th annual meet here today. He said that the hospitals who submit the required documents to the Trust will be empaneled list after verification, he said.

Silk vastrams to Durgamma on September 27

Amaravati:: The Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu will place silk vastrams to Durgamma on the eve of Dasara Navaratri Utsavams on behalf of the State government on September 27. The Principal Secretary, Endowments Manmohan Singh issued orders. The festival celebrations will be held at Durga Malleswara Swamy from September 21 to 30.

AgriGold dues comes to Rs.3,900 crore

Amaravati:: AgriGold is due to pay to its depositors to a tune of Rs.6,381 crore throughout the country while Rs.3,900 crore for the depositors in Andhra Pradesh. CID ADG Dwaraka Tirumala Rao held discussions with the Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu at the Secretariat.

Ankurarapanam for three day annual Pavithrosavam at Appplayagunta

Tirupati:: The three day pavitrotsavam which begins from sept16to 18 at Sri Prasanna Venkateswara Swamy Temple, Appalayagunta took off on Friday with the Ankurarpanam ritual. The holy ritual is performed every year in the temple toward off misgivings and evil impact of staff and devotees. The ritual will complete on Saturday.
