Vijayawada:: Minister for Endowments P.Manikyala Rao today said that the trust board of the TTD would be constituted before Dasara. Sri Durga Malleswara Swamyvarla Devasthanam in Vijayawada and the Srisailam and Srikalahasti temples were being developed as per the master plans within one year, he said addressing the media.
Srikakulam:: CITU State president Ch.Narasinga Rao today demanded that the agreements entered into with the US government vis-à-vis construction of the atomic power plant at Kovvada in the district be scrapped as they were detrimental to the interests of the nation. Amaravati:: YSRCP has appointed Vampugudi Srinivas as the general secretary of the YSRCP State student wing. The Central Committee said in a statement that the appointment was made on the directions of party chief Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Hyderabad:: The Hyderabad High Court today has issued orders not to demolish the houses of the petitioners in Vamsadhara Project Unit-I. Justice N.Ramalingeswara Rao has issued the orders. The petitioners represented by V.Chandrasekhara Rao of Korada approached the High Court seeking a direction on the order of the government to demolish their houses as the Award time was over. The petitioners informed the court that they are still residing in the houses and without issuing an Award, vacation of the houses is illegal. The judged passed the orders in favour of the petitioners.
