KE Krishna Murty clears the air on social media post

Vijayawada:: A post circulating in the social media is creating a flutter. The miscreants posted the personal telephone number of the Deputy Chief Minister K.E.Krishna Murty to give credence to their claim that the jobs would be provided in the TTD if those interested to pay Rs.30,000. KEK in a bid to clear the air, issued a statement stating that he had asked the Rayalaseema Range DIG to inquire into the issue and asserted that he had nothing to do with the post.

Court employee murdered

Nellore:: Suryapalem Madhusudhan, a junior assistant at the District Court he was found dead in the forests near Venkatachalam in the district on Friday. His body bore knife injuries and burns. The Nellore Rural Police visited the spot and started investigation. Old enmity was not ruled out as the reason for the murder.

Close call to bus passengers

Chittoor:: It was a miraculous escape for passengers of APSRTC and Karnataka Road Transport buses when they had a brush with each other at hairpin bend at I.Rangaiahgaripalle village of Pakala mandal on the Bangalore NH on Sunday. The police said that the two buses were crossing each other when the incident took place. As the drivers applied sudden brake, it resulted in simple bruises to half a dozen passengers and the buses resumed journey after the police cleared the traffic.

APSFDC office inaugurated

Vijayawada:: Hindupur MLA Nandamuri Bala Krishna inaugurated the AP Development Corporation office at RTC bus complex on Saturday. Speaking on the occasion, he said that film industry stalwarts such as NT Rama Rao, Akkineni Nageswara Rao and DVS Raju were instrumental in the phenomenal growth of the industry. He observed that the film and television industry in the State would grow in future.
