Uday Bhaskara Rao appointed as Addl.IG, Registrations

Amaravati:: The State government has appointed M.Udya Bhaskara Rao as Additional Inspector General of Stamps and Registrations department following his promotion.

Bicycle expedition flagged off

Kurnool:: Computer science engineer and fitness freak Gosula Sreekanth set of on a 2,624 km bicycle expedition from the G.Pulla Reddy Engineering College campus here to the Mt.Everest base camp in Nepal on Wednesday. College Principal B.Sreenivasa Reddy flagged off the ‘Healthy India, Wealthy India’ expedition.

Drought relief team for Chittoor

Tirupati:: A Central drought relief team will be visiting Chittoor district on a two day tour from June 1. According to District Collector A.S.Pradyumna, the team comprises Vandana Singhal, R.B.Kaul and Vijay Thackeray. The team after inaugurating a photo exhibition will inspect several water bodies in the municipal corporation limits and would travel to Kayampeta and Vadamalpeta mandals. On the second day, it will visit Nagalapuram, Varadalahpalem and other mandals.
