Vijayawada:: The farmers of Undavalli who refused to part their lands for the construction of Capital Amaravati registered their protest again by walking out of the formal meeting convened by CRDA. The government has been planning to acquire the most fertile fields spread in about 700 acres for capital construction. About 900 farmers of the village own the fields and all of them refused to give their land under the Land Polling Scheme.
Amaravati:: The APPSC today has announced the results of the Deputy Surveyor and Assistant Architecture draftsmen and others posts results of which were announced. A total 292 candidates have been qualified. The APPSC also announced the list of candidates selected for Factor Inspector posts.
Amaravati:: The DIETCET for the admission into D.El.ed elementary school teachers will be held for four days from June 6. The test will be computer based one said the Kakinada Regional Joint Director D.Devanand Reddy in a statement. The hall tickets will be posted on the website on June 1. Amaravati:: Government Special Chief Secretary D.Sambasiva Rao held discussions with Excise Commissioner Lakshmi Narasimham, Director Venkateswara Rao on Monday on the new Excise Bar policy. He suggested for the implementation of the same from July 1. The new bar policy will be implemented along with new excise policy, he said.
Tirumala:: The Arjitha Seva tickets for Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam scheduled to be issued on June 2 for the month of September will be released on June 16 due to upgradation of software, said Executive Officer Anil Kumar Singhal.
