K.Ch.Punnaiah Chowdary, Secretary, Badminton Assocition of India and vice-president of Andhra Pradesh Olympic Association joined the BJP in the presence of party’s national president Amit Shaw today. He joined the party with the blessings of party State president K.Hari Babu, Mahila wing leader D.Purandeswari and MLA Veeraju.
Nellore:: V.Ramanaiah (44) who was reportedly arrested by Kovvur police in a gold jewellery robbery case died receiving treatment at the government hospital on Wednesday. Ramanaiah, who was reportedly an old offender developed health complications at night and allegedly began frothing from his mouth. The police shifted him to the hospital but he died. The reasons for the death is not immediately known.
Kurnool:: The police have arrested six accused including hired assassins in the case of double murder of former mandal president Induri Prabhakar Reddy and his brother-in-law Meruva Srinivasa Reddy both of them from YSRCP. They were done to death when they for an evening walk on Maseedupuram road near Govindampalli in Allagadda police sub-division on May 6.
Amaravati:: Former retired IAS officer Dasari Srinivasulu, cine writer Chinni Krishna today joined BJP in the presence of party national president Amit Shaw. Former Rajya Sabha member Yelamanchili Sivaji met Amit Shaw.
Amaravati:: The State government has issued orders to appoint class IV employees on outsourcing basis in temple. The Endowments Principal Secretary JSV Prasad has issued orders to this effect. The orders said that the temples who gets three crore of income for the consecutive three years can appoint an employee of the cadre of superintendent. Those temples that have over Rs.50 lakh income for the last three years can appoint Senior Assistant cadre employees. The outsourcing and consolidated employees will not come under the purview of transfers.
Gannavaram:: Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu today inaugurated formally the Emergency Life Support Ambulance today. Union Minister for Railways Suresh Prabhu allotted MP funds for the Ambulance. BJP national president Amit Shaw along with Union Minister M.Venkaiah Naidu flagged off 13 ambulances.
