Vijayawada:: Fuel prices are being revised every day and if motorists want to use only the officials source, they can turn to the three applications of petroleum corporations – Indian Oil (Fuel&IOC), HP (My HPCL) and the Bharat Petroleum (SmartDrive) to stay updated with the daily prices. Those who do not use smart phones can get the info at the stations. The SMS code for Indian Oil is ‘RSP DEALER CODE to 92224992249, ‘RSP Dealer Code to 9223112222’ and for Bharat Petroleum and ‘HP PRICE DELADER CODE TO 9222201122 for prices at HP fuel stations.

=State signs MoU with US firm Cerner Amaravati:: An MoU was signed between the US based company Cerner ad the Department of Health, Medical and Family Welfare today. Under the MoU, Cerner will supply Health Information Exchange services to analyze data from the ongoing health programmes and provide policy recommendations. The MoU was signed in presence of the Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu. A Knowledge Command Centre will be established to help coordinate the procedures.

’Chief Minister wants to control cable network through APSFL’, says Vundavalli

Rajamahendravaram:: Former MP Vundavalli Arun Kumar today alleged that the Chief Minister wants to control cable network through the AP State Fibernet Limited. Speaking to media, he said that Chandrababu Naidu announced that the government is going to provide Internet, telephone an TV connection for just Rs.149 per month through the APSFL. He said that in reality, the customer paying Rs.276 per month. This includes Rs.100 towards monthly instalment for set up box and Rs.27 for GST, he said. He said that the high-speed Internet would not be given as promised. He alleged that Chandrababu wants to put pressure on master signal operators and get them into his fold and control the cable system.

Abolish Janmabhoomi panels

Kakinada:: East Godavari unit secretary of CPI T.Madhu demanded the government abolish ‘Janmabhoomi committees. He alleged that the committees were reigning at the grass-roots level and deterring genuine beneficiaries from accessing government’s various welfare schemes. He was speaking after launching the party’s Praja Garjana at Ayodhya Nagar.
