Chief Minister to inaugurate AP Police Headquarters on July 26

Mangalagiri:: AP Police Headquarters that are under construction at APSP Battalion in Mangalagiri will be inaugurated by the Chief Minister on July 26 according to sources. The buildings having all latest technologies will house the AP Police headquarters with all departments. The building is being construed under AP Police Housing Board.

CPI (M) supports Jagan padayatra

Amaravati:: CPI(M) State secretary while welcoming YSRCP president Jagan Mohan Reddy’s padayatra for the people cause extended the party support;. Speaking to media on Thursday along with State executive committee member D.Subba Rao, he said that the attacks on Dalits are increasing in TDP rule. Though injustice is being done to Dalits in Pachchikapallam, Garagaparru and Devarapalli, the government failed to do act. ‘Chalo Garagaparru’ will be taken up on July 28 with the active support of all political parties. CPI State secretary K.Ramakrishna, former MP Harsh Kumar and others extended support to Madhu’s programme.

ANU Distance education PG results announced

ANU-Guntur:: ANU distance education that conducted M.A. (English) first and second year in May the results of which were announced on Thursday. The results can be had on the ANU website http://www.anucde.info/ said Distance Education Centre PG examinations wing Deputy Registrar Bhavanam Anjaneya Reddy.

Licences will be issued to 4,380 liquor shops

Amaravati:: Minister for Excise K.S.Jawahar said that the department would issue licenses to 4,380 liquor outlets and 832 bars in the State. He said that licences had been already issued to 3,282 liquor shops and 456 bars. The government earned Rs.441.83 crore as income during the last year and 686.08 crore during this year, he said. As many as 4,600 complaints have been received from the public and only two percent of them are legally valid.
