Amaravati:: APPSC today released the Group II examination revised key. It may be recalled that the Group II examination for recruitment of 982 posts was held on July 15 and 16. The primary key was released on paper wise. The Commission advised the candidates to submit objections if any within one week. After taking into consideration of the objections, if any, final key will be released. Details can be had on http://www.psc.ap.gov.in.
Amaravati:: The State government has declared August 14 (Krishnastami) as holiday under Negotiable Instruments Act-1881. The Chief Secretary Dinesh Kumar has on Friday issued the orders.
Amaravati:: The State Government has issued orders promoting District Fire Officers of East Godavari, Tirupati, Nellore, Vizianagaram and Guntur. T.Uday Kumar has been promoted and transferred to Vijayawada Municipal Corporation Fire Prevention Wing.
Amaravati:: The State government has sanctioned Rs.117 crore to the RTC for purchase of new buses. At present there are only seven sleeper buses in the RTC. Sources said that the government has directed the RTC to purchase Sleeper buses in addition to Volvo buses. The government has permitted to extend the 25% concession to senior citizens. The Principal Secretary Sumita Dawra has on Friday issued the orders.
Amaravati:: CPI and CPI(M) State secretaries has given a call to the voters of Nandyal constituency to defeat the TDP and BJP combine candidate in the upcoming elections. They alleged that the TDP-BJP combine are ruling in an undemocratic way both at the Centre and at the State level. They said that the TDP has failed in all fields and are deceiving the people with false promises. They said that TDP has been encouraging defections, corruption and wanted the voters to express their protest by defeating the TDP-BJP combine candidate.
