Kurnool:: Police constable sustains injury and went into coma:: K.Neelakantappa, head constable of Gonegandla police station slipped into coma after sustaining bleeding head injuries when he fell off his two-wheeler while going to Yemmiganur in Kurnool district on Saturday. He was rushed to the SGR Hospital near Kurnool for treatment.

Srikakulam:: Insurance employees would launch agitation:: All India Insurance Employees Union national general secretary V.Ramesh on Saturday said that over one lakh employees would launch agitation soon if the government fails to withdraw its decision to list general insurance companies in the stock market. He feared that the people’s money should not be kept in the corporate bodies which would control the stock market too. He came here to campaign for Progressive Democratic Front candidate Aja Sarma. He said that only LIC and four general insurance companies would do their business in transparent manner.
