  • Hyderabad: Gate results announced:: GATE -2017 that conducted entrance test for admissions into IIT AND Central institutions for M.Tech and other courses, the results of which were announced on Sunday by IIT, Roorke. The results can be had on Sources said that students from Hyderabad had got 1st and 9th ranks in ECE.
  • Rajamahendravaram: Hindi version of Telugu novel released:: Writer and translator Mahindhara Rama Sastry on Sunday released the Hindi version of the Telugu novel ‘Todu’ penned by Akkinapalli Subba Rao. He said that the translation, ‘Sathi’ penned by H.S.M.Kameswara Rao would help the novel reach out to the readers in North India.
  • Srikakulam:: Mahendratanaya Pushkarams:: Thousands of devotees took a holy dip in Mahendratanaya river on Sunday on the occasion of Maha Maha Varuni Pushkaram. Devotees from various places including Odisha reached Sarali, Changadi, Patapatnam and other places for the river festival.
  • Khammam:: Two committee formed for Employees Union of BSNL:: BSNL Employees Union during its two day Andhra Circle 5th State meet that concluded on Sunday elected two separate committees for Andhra Pradesh and Telangana State. Telangana Circle president G.Mohan Reddy (Hyderabad) and Secretary J.Sampat Rao (Warangal) while for Andhra Pradesh, the president K.Prabhakara Rao (Guntur) ad P.Ashok Babu (Vijayawada) as secretary.
