Anantapur:: APLAWCET through online:: AP Lawcet-2017 chairman and SKU Vice Chancellor Prof.K.Rajagopal said that that Lawcet for admissions into law courses will be conducted through online for the first time. Speaking to media, he said that the AP Lawcet is being conducted by Sri Krishnadevaraya University. He said that as many as 4,896 applications have been received so far. The last date for submission of applications for three and five year LLB course and PG LLM course with ordinary fee has come to an end. Candidates can submit applications with late fee. The Lawcet will be held in 16 centres across the State and details on mock test and college details can be had on www.rche.ap.gov.in/awcet.
Amaravati:: Agricultural university to start functioning in new campus:: The Acharya NG Ranga Agricultural University will start functioning in newly constructed building from March 24 at Lamfam . The building was constructed with the funds of Rs.5 crore given by Indian Council for Agricultural Research. The newly constructed building will be inaugurated by Minister for Agriculture P.Pulla Rao and will be attended by Principal Secretary Agriculture B.Rajasekhar and Director of Agriculture K.Dhanunjaya Reddy.

Kurnool:: Tenant farmer commits suicide:; A debt ridden tenant farmer Vadde Khader (45) allegedly committed suicide by consuming pesticide in an agricultural field in Pesaraval village in Gadivemula mandal in the district. Sources said that he raised chilli by taking the field on lease, reportedly incurrent losses due to pest manifestation. He resorted to the extreme step owing to financial losses.
Vijayawada:: Pushpa Srivani criticizes privileges panel:: YSRCP MLA from Kurupam P.Pushpa Srivani on Saturday criticized the AP Legislative Committee of Privileges for recommending suspension of party MLA from Nagari R.K.Roja for one year. Speaking at a press conference, she said that the committee did not take action in connection with 25 complaints made by her party. She said efforts were being made to undermine Roja who had been fighting for the cause of women.
