  • Amaravati:: Final written test for constable posts on March 19:: The final written test for the recruitment of Police constables Mechanical 25, and 134 driver posts will be held on March 19 according to AP Police Recruitment Board Chairman Atul Singh in a statement on Saturday. He said that the driving and trade tests were conducted and as many as 6,922 candidates were qualified. The test will be conducted at Kakinada on March 19 from 10am to 5.30pm and hall tickets will be issued from March 9, 2017.
  • Eluru:: Let the matters be settled in the courts’, says DGP Sambasiva Rao:: Nagari MLA R.K.Roja who filed case against AP DGP Sambasiva Rao will be decided in the courts said the DGP. He held a meeting with officials in Eluru on the steps taken to arrest road accidents. He said that to reduce the fatality rate by 50 percent, the department will be developing an app and takes the help of drones. Patrolling vehicles will be provided in 13 police stations on the High Ways.

The zonal executive meet held on Saturday comprising of West Godavari, Krishna, Guntur and Prakasam was held on Saturday and elected the new executive for the year 2017-18.
  • Tirupati:: ICET Notification on Monday:: ICET-2017 notification will be issued on Monday according to ICET convenor B.Sudhir. The test is being conducted for admissions into MBA/MCA courses in various colleges across the State. Sri Venkateswara University conducts the ICET. Applications will be accepted from March 1 to April 5 through online with a registration fee of Rs.450. The test will be conducted on May 2 from 10am to 12.30pm and from 2pm to 5pm at Anatapuram, Amalapuram, Bhimavaram, Chittoor, Kurnool, Nellore, Ongole, Rajamahendravaram, Srikakulam, Tirupati, Vijayawada and Vizianagaram.
