Amaravati:: Change of examinations dates of APPSC:: The APPSC has changed some examination dates for the notifications issued earlier. Technical Assistant (Mining) posts examination will be held of March 3 instead of March 2. Technical Assistant (Geophysics) will be held as scheduled. Fisheries Development Officers post three papers examination will be held on March 4 and 5 instead of March 3 and 4. Civil Assistant Surgeons posts examination will be held on March 4 instead of March 3. Inspector of Factories will be held on March 4. Assistant Architecture, Surveyor, Deputy Surveyor posts will be held on March 5 according to a statement by APPSC on Thursday.

Machilipatnam:: Case booked against gold appraiser:: The Machilipatnam police on Thursday registered a case against Vijaya Bank gold appraiser S.V.Santosh Kumar who reportedly replaced gold deposited in the bank with imitation jewellery. Vijayawada:: APSWC announces Rs.6 crore dividend:; The AP State Warehousing Corporation has decided to give an interim dividend of Rs.6 crore during the current financial year. Chairman L.V.S.R.K.Prasad said the Board of Directors meeting held recently discussed the proposal. A dividend of Rs.3 crore will be given to State government and Rs.3 crore to the Central Warehousing Corporation, he said.
