The Andhra Pradesh State Government has decided to increase the age limit to 50 years to avail loans from the Kapu Corporation.

As of now, the Corporation is providing loans to Kapus in the age group of 21 to 45 years. Chief Minister said at a review meeting that the loans would be provided to people in the age group of 21 years to 50 years. The Government has decided to construct a Kapu Samkshema Bhavan in every district. Kapu students aspiring to study abroad would be given a scholarship of Rs.10 lakh apart from scholarships and added that the government would support Kapu students aspiring for competitive examinations.
