668 candidates to compete for each post in Group II in screening test

The last date for submission of applications for Group II examinations being conducted by APPSC came to an end by Sunday midnight.

For 982 posts, as many as 6,55,279 candidates have applied. The screening test will be held on February 26, 2017 and each candidate will compete with 668 candidates for each post. The candidates will be selected in the ration of 1:50 for mains. The main examination will be conducted on May 20, 21 according to APPSC secretary. The test will be held on computerized basis with objective ones. The mains will comprise of three papers. The main examination will be held on May 20 morning and afternoon and third paper on May 21. However, negative marking will not be held for the current examination, said APPSC sources.
