Tribal people of Chaparal village who were admitted to Area Hospital here on June 25 were discharged on Friday and the ITDA arranged ambulances to drop them in their village.

ITDA officer, A.S.Dinesh Kumar said that of the 59 patients, 23 were discharged on Friday as doctors declared that they were completely disease free. Local MLA Vantala Rajeswari alleged that they were discharged on the pretext of Jagan Mohan Reddy’s visit to Area hospital on Saturday and also to Chaparai.

ITDA officer Dinesh Kumar brushed aside the allegations saying that there still 16 men, two women and 11 children undergoing treatment and 12 patients came back to Rampachodavaram area hospital on Friday from Kakinada general hospital as their condition is stated to be stable.

The ITDA on Friday filled vacant paramedical posts in the medical ad health department by issuing appointment orders. The Project Officer conducted walk-in interviews and gave appointment orders for 16 multipurpose health assistants, 13 pharmacists, 15 staff nurses, 3 lab technicians and three male nursing ordinary.
