Silk Mark Organization of India, promoted by Central Silk Board, Ministry of Textiles, Government of India is organizing a ‘Srimathi Silk Mark’ beauty pageant exclusively for married women on March 5, 2017.
Silk Mark Organization of India senior executive B.Chandan Kumar and senior executive of Central Silk Board Y.Srinivasa Rao said on Saturday that the focus of the pageant was to highlight tradition and culture of India. This, apart, we want to educate people on identifying authentic silk fabrics and encourage them to invest in quality products.
Besides, ‘Srimathi Silk Mark’ title winner, top two contestants will be given away with exciting prizes, said Srinivasa Rao. Audition will conclude on February 26. On the occasion V-Team, an event management firm will give away awards to women who have excelled in various fields. A poster was launched by Shobhana Smriti, wife of District Collector Pravin Kumar.
